Annual General Meeting 2022

Bosch Diesel Service- Al Salehi has held its Annual General Meeting on Saturday, 26th March 2022. The management has approved, among other items, the company financial presentation of fiscal year 2021. A sumptuous international buffet dinner was served prior to the proper meeting commencement.

The event has officially started at 20:00 hours, hosted by the talented Ms. Clarisa Catungal and Mr. Mohd Jalal Akbar. A brief review of the last year’s 2021 AGM minutes was presented eloquently by Ms. Catungal. The designated speakers representing each department, namely, Mr. Muhammad Naeem Riaz (Accounts), Mr. Marko Macatangay (Service- Reception), Ms. Nhelyn Canto (Purchase & Logistics), and Mr. Vinod Chandrashekar (Sales & Engine Workshop) had remarkably presented the Challenges and Successes of their respective teams and departments, in general. To sum up, all of their presentations were incredibly informative and inspirational, that despite the ongoing Covid-19 global pandemic as the biggest challenge, each department thrived and succeed by working as a team encompassing innovative approach & effective recourse as a challenge arise.

Mr. Behzad Salehi, the Owner & Managing Director of the company, delivered the keynote address. This year, Mr. Salehi has focused on the AGM theme “Business growth empowered by self-actualization”. He started off by reviewing the last year’s short-term and long-term goals with its corresponding current status evidently showing that the management is well right on track! Then he went on presenting the year 2022 Strategic Planning by the department with RACI Matrix. Mr. Salehi has provided development insights into his various business segments, and highlighted efficient crisis management & self-actualization in keeping the company business growing during tough times. He ended his speech with terrific motivational quotes to ponder and earnest thanksgiving to one and all.

As a customary, all attendees were given the chance to voice out their appreciation, concerns, and suggestions covering all areas of the business and were addressed appropriately, during the Open Forum. Service Awardees were as well honored with a plaque of appreciation, for their loyalty and distinguished service spanning from five (5) years and beyond. The recipients were namely, Hamidreza Mohammadbeigi Nieh, Recelgean Mag-aso, Naseer Khan, Eyuel Asfaw Nedaw, Imtiayaz Ahmed, Marc Lendl Alamillo, Rey Mula, Imran Ahmad, Francis II Tan, Marko Macatangay, Salman Khan, Syed Sharfuddin, and Rolando Jr. Estember.

The event was concluded with department-wise door prizes; a departmental photo session; and at the initiative of the Management and the Human Resources department on Go Green campaign, each employee in attendance was given a set of the company-branded eco-shopping bag with lunch bag and eco-bottle.

Bosch Diesel Service-Al Salehi towards 2021 Plans despite COVID-19 threat

21-Jan-2021, BDS-Al Salehi hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at TIME Hotels, Dubai. The event had started at 6:30 PM with registration and dinner buffet followed by the formal Program. Covid-19 protocols were observed by everyone.

Mr. Behzad Salehi, Managing Director, and company owner shared the management’s Year 2021 Planning among his more than 40 employees. He discussed how he envisioned the company for the forthcoming years with the Short-term & Long-term Goals, Business strategy, and Restructured Organizational Chart.

“I’d rather lose money than trust,” said Mr. Salehi as Robert Bosch’s famous quote in bringing out Bosch as a credible brand globally and as his principle of doing business. Hence, despite the global Covid-19 pandemic, the company remains resilient and scalable. Thanks to our ever-loyal customers, exemplary employees, and to our strong supplier relationships worldwide.

Two main speakers were also heard, Faiyaz Khan and Akash Devadiga. Khan, General Accountant has presented the 2020 Year-in-Review. Devadiga, Abu Dhabi Sales Executive, shared how he was overcoming the challenges, enduring successes, turning leads into closed deals and representing well on behalf of the company, and grabbing business opportunities in the UAE capital. “We’re able to stand out in the Abu Dhabi market due to the quality of work and unrivaled technical expertise we provide to all our customers,” said Devadiga.

After all topics were discussed by the speakers and the coffee/tea short break, an open forum took place to understand the employees’ challenges and suggestions for the enhancement and betterment of the existing processes. Concerns amongst the management, employees, and interdepartmental teams were also addressed and noted for continuous improvement purposes.

Service awards were given to employees who had spent from five to thirteen innovative years in the company, namely, Rey Mula, Marc Lendl Alamillo, Imtiayaz Ahmed, Eyuel Asfaw Nedaw, Naseer Khan, Recelgean Mag-Aso, and Hamid Mohammadbeigi Nieh, respectively. BDS-Al Salehi management has also announced new benefits for employees with a minimum of 5 years of work tenure as a reward for their hard work and loyalty.

With the present situation, BDS-Al Salehi keeps its pace in servicing diesel fuel injection system components, computer diagnostics of vehicles, machinery & equipment, engine overhauling, and turbocharger repairing with its growing number of skilled employees along with well-equipped workshop facilities to continuously deliver unmatched service quality.

Embracing Better Ways in the New Normal

Bosch Diesel Service- Al Salehi has been providing uninterrupted service, amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Here’s a sneak peak of how we are ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers and the community as a whole, with our corporate strategic initiative “Embracing Better Ways in the New Normal”.

While we take pride in the fact that we are able to continuously serve our customers amidst the significant operational changes due to many contributing factors caused by the pandemic, we ensure that health and safety of our stakeholders are prioritized by implementing the following practices:

  • Remote working and skeletal workforce have been established during the local movement restrictions and at the same time to promote physical distancing measures.
  • Daily checking and reminders of hygiene protocols in the workplace.
  • Compulsory screening of visitors/guests’ body temperature upon entry using a non-contact infrared thermometer (NCIT).

  • Providing all employees with 3-ply face masks, disposable gloves, and sanitizers.
  • We have undertaken an initiative to provide and distribute washable face masks to our customers and walk-in guests.
  • Our employees and customers are constantly encouraged to observe the mandatory two-meter social distancing rule.
  • Postpone and reschedule company visits and department meetings to minimize close contacts.
  • Carrying out regular cleaning and disinfection in the company premises.
  • Enforcement of health authorities and government guidelines by installing no entry barriers, stickers with instructions, sanitizers, and liquid hand-wash pumps.
  • Providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits to our Field Service Technicians/Engineers and incorporating social distancing in the process.
  • Determining which services are critical to the client’s site and which services can wait or can be done through virtual assistance.

Annual General Meeting 2020

Annual General Meeting 2020 was held on 6th February 2020 at ‘TIMES Grand Plaza Hotel’, Al Qusais- Dubai. The prime agenda of the meeting was to recognise and appreciate the efforts of the entire Al Salehi Team for their support & contribution towards the business success in the Financial Year 2019.

The event started off with a team dinner, followed by the formal session. The Managing Director, Mr. Behzad Salehi addressed the gathering by outlining the Company’s goals for FY2020 and officially announced the opening of ‘Al Salehi Machinery & Equipment Repairing Branch’ at DIP-1. The departmental heads/representatives summarised their department’s performance. There was also an open forum wherein the attendees shared glimpses their work experience at Al Salehi.

The event came to a conclusion with the Awards ceremony. Traffic Fines Incentive Scheme recipients were rewarded along with the lucky winners of Raffle Ticket Draws. Active participation of all the attendees made AGM 2020 a grand success!
